Brief description Social anxiety following traumatic brain injury is a debilitating and long-lasting condition, especially as it presents in adolescence when friendships and peer acceptance are paramount. Many clinical researchers now believe that cognitive behavioural therapy is the psychological treatment of choice for managing anxiety in childhood and adolescence. The present study will address a gap in research by evaluating a cognitive behavioural therapy program especially designed for managing social anxiety in young people with traumatic brain injury.
