Researchers: Prof Helen Marshall (Principal investigator)

Brief description Our research has shown the majority of children and pregnant women who are underimmunised remain so due to social deprivation or logistical barriers, not anti-vaccine views. There is a need for improved targeted immunisation programs in Australia specifically for vulnerable groups. We will identify interventions and strategies to improve immunisation uptake in underimmunised children and pregnant women and develop evidence based targeted immunisation programs to improve equity in child health.
