Brief description For many patients with cancer, the best hope for obtaining cures or much longer remission lies in new drugs that efficiently kill the tumour cells by targeting cell survival pathways or by somehow reinstalling chemotherapeutic response. We aim to develop novel small molecules able to neutralise pro-survival proteins. Furthermore, we aim to identify new tumour suppressor genes, some of which are likely to represent attractive targets for cancer therapy.
