PURLS

Group Creation Form 1 of 2

Concepts

A group is a list of registered users, groups, or both. Groups are mechanisms that help manage access control for PURLs and domains. This mechanism is useful for specifying other readers, writers, or maintainers of PURLs and domains you own. In and of themselves, groups do not bestow new capabilities on their members. A group must be specified as a member of a PURL's or domain's read, write, or maintenance access control list to have any effect on its members.

More information about groups and access control is available in the PURL FAQ.

Instructions

First, specify the registered user ID that will own the new group and the authorized Password of that ID.
