Title Performance profiles with Jacobi Test Code suite

Abstract Jacobi Test Code (JTC) provides several parallel kernels written in MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, OpenCL and OpenACC for the Jacobi method applied to the discretised Laplacian on 3D cuboid domains. These kernels can be used to explore the parallel performance of multi-core and many-core hardware in a systematic manner. This report presents the main features of JTC, basic estimates for the performance bounds on both CPU and GPU architectures, and performance profiles obtained with JTC on several parallel systems currently used by the scientific community in UK. The JTC source code is available at http://ccpforge.cse.rl.ac.uk/gf/project/asearchtest/frs/
