Abstract
The complexity, unpredictability and inter-dependency of the components in a workflow often demand thorough planning in a workflow at design level. In this paper we propose the Data-Centric approach to instantiate, monitor and manage complex workflows. We believe the culture change in the orchestration of services is required to consider their data dependency while modeling workflows. The current process or activity oriented mechanism; utilized in the existing workflow technologies have failed to live up to expectations due to data issues at later stages.
