Title Factors Influencing the Early Adoption of e-HTPX within Structural Based Drug Design
Contributors
Abstract Innovation is not what innovators do; it is what customers or clients adopt. Put another way, innovation is not brilliant ideas that change minds, but the distribution of useable artifacts that change the lives of the people who use them. To this extent e-Science is moving into a critical stage of its evolution. This paper explores the factors influencing the early adoption of e-HTPX within drug discovery departments of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. It considers the techniques used to model diffusion of innovation and looks at how developers could use this analysis improve adoption of their software or services.
