Abstract	CLARA (Compact Linear Accelerator for Research and Applications) is a Free Electron Laser (FEL) test facility under development at Daresbury Laboratory. The pro-gress in commissioning of the CLARA front end focus-sing on recent investigations into photoinjector (PI) drive laser transport and development/commissioning of high level software scripts are presented.
