Abstract	This report reviews the current design of FLAME and highlights its limitations. This is followed by the description of a proposed re-design which will overcome the current limitations and enable the exploration of various optimisation and parallelisation strategies. Some of these strategies are briefly discussed, along with other concerns such as backward compatibility and agent topology management.
