Brief description Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most frequent female reproductive disorder with likely transmission of health risks down generations. The origins of PCOS are unknown so there is no cure and current treatment manages symptoms only. Combining our androgen resistant and PCOS mouse models and targeted therapeutic approaches, we will identify new androgenic pathways underpinning PCOS, so that new mechanism-based treatments may for the first time be attempted.
