Abstract
The modelling of CCD and pixel detector devices is an important area in which semiconductor device modelling can be applied to better understand and optimise new designs. The three dimensional device modelling suite EVEREST has been extended to deal with charge generation events which occur when a charged particle or X-ray strikes a semiconductor detector. This report details the developments that have been made to model these events and presents some initial results to validate the changes to the software.
